As I always say, a good blog design is worth every penny. OK, so I am just now saying it for the first time, but still. When you look at all the great blogs out there...they stand out from the crowd. SO I am begging, pleading Skip for $75 (plus tax) to take my blog to the next level. I want people to say, "WOW! Did you read the snotandkisses blog today? I don't know what she said, but it looked fantastic!"
He said N-O, not just "plain and simple" NO, but "dirty look" NO. Translated, that means, "There is no good reason to spend money to have your friends read about your life when they could just call you for FREE."
I figure he just doesn't get it (or it could be that he is upset that I have neglected him since this blog-madness struck our home.) Seriously though, I don't have enough words to make this thing happen. I need pictures, headers, borders, footers, link buttons, archives, labels, table of contents, I need BLING. I want Big Mama, THE Big Mama, to stand up and take notice!
In his defense, I imagine that he sees an entire craft room loaded to the gills with expensive scrapbooking and stamping products that are collecting dust. Or maybe, just maybe, he spies all the Pampered Chef gidgits I just had to have piling up in the kitchen cabinets. It could possibly be the stint on eBay that still haunts him. But, I maintain that this is a different hobby. This is therapy. SO really, $75 (plus tax) is a great price to spend on mental health.

Amen, Sister. You want to know what is sad? You'll probably talk Skip into buying you one before my husband who can do it himself for free gets around to doing mine!
ok...so maybe if you sell some of your scrapbooking on ebay you can buy a fancy blog design :)
Your blog has been great therapy for me too! I laugh every time. But don't tell Skip, because I'm sure he'll want me to pay for your design.
I love your blog just the way it is. Your writing speaks for itself. Use the $75 on something great like clothes and shoes!
