I am dry. My brain has shriveled up and dried into a little brain raisin.
I don't have anything between my ears anymore. Or at least not for the last couple days. I've even tried to do math in my head just for to see if my brain was tracking.
It wasn't.
I need to reboot my system and start fresh tomorrow.
Honestly, was this even worth spending 5 minutes to type? Or 1 minute to read?
Hardly. Good night!

Blank Slate and Getting To Know You
My brain is running the test pattern today. BEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPP. That's it.
So for lack of nothing else in my brain...
Coke or Pepsi?
Mountains or Beach?
Mac or PC?
Dog or Cat?
Morning Light or Night Owl?

Lazy
I am worthless today. LAZY! I started three projects today and haven't finished a single one. My living room is covered in stacks of paper, my June calendar just says "June", my laundry room is a wasteland. All I want to do is sleep.
How can I tap into my children's boundless energy resource? Maybe if I had a drop of energy transfer, I might be able to write numbers on the June calendar without needing to take a break.
I think I have just hit overwhelmed mode. There is never a break in work. The laundry is never done, the dishes keep getting dirty, rooms get unorganized, weeds keep growing. People need food and drinks constantly. There is always work. My mind is boggled by the vast amount that needs to be done around my house. They range from easy tasks, to major demolition.
And I don't want to do any of it.

Blah Blah Blah
I feel off today. All day I kept thinking it was Monday. It hasn't helped that I started the day with L throwing up and ending with a headache. Nothing spectacular happened in the middle. So I am blah. I wouldn't blame you if you stopped reading this post because it has no value whatsoever.
Just blah thoughts on a blah day.
One thing I thought a lot about today was the Happy Meal toys from McD's. I hate them. They are figures from a movie that my kids won't see. If the movie is anything like the toys...I don't want them to see it. Every single character BURPS. Why? I don't want my kids to burp, so why would I want them to play with big heaps of burping plastic. "I am an ogre. BBBUUURRPP." I might like it better if they would teach some manners. "I am an ogre. BBUURRRPPPP. Oh, excuse me!" But, they won't. Maybe I just don't see the humor in a green burping ogre. You wouldn't believe how much time I have spent thinking about that.
Also spent a fair amount of time researching Dasani water. I heard they put laxatives in the water. Didn't get anywhere with my quest for the truth. I will have to do independent research.
I sewed some buttons on a dress today. It has been a long time since I have done that. I had a little helper cut the string. She was quite enthralled with the project. Much more than me.
I literally stayed in my pj's until 3:30. Which means I was home all day. I was home working on the house...laundry, vacuuming, dusting, making beds, etc. Home all day and still forgot about dinner. You would think that staying home and being domestic would spur the cooking memory. But it didn't. We ate processed chicken nuggets and Kraft Mac & Cheese. Very redemptive...if you are 6. Not so much for the hungry man that lives here. The truth is that I love to cook, but I have been in a rut lately. That probably stands to reason with why I have so many burping toys from Happy Meals. Rut.
BLAH. BLAH. BLAH. I am sorry about the 3 minutes you just lost by reading this. Hopefully tomorrow I will be out of the blahs.
OH...how could I have forgot to mention Tball game. That was the highlight! They played great! So I guess the whole day was not a waste.
