Personally, I prefer the bad news first. I like to know that there is hope in any situation so I save the good for last. So here is the bad news. I am sick again. YUCK!!
Yesterday and today have been awful for me. Just like before...nausea, horrible taste in my mouth and some rushing to the restroom. I am feeling so discouraged by this. I want to cry, but I think I am too tired for that. I really hope this wave doesn't last long.
The good news is that my friends don't let me suffer alone. This friend begged to take Lou off my hands. At first I said no. I don't know why I do that. Probably because I don't want to inconvenience anybody. But she persisted. She is like that and I love that about her. Not only did she take Loulabelle, but she also picked Z up from school.
What a tremendous gift that was. After 4 hours of sleep, I feel somewhat better. Good enough to retrieve my children and pretend that I am a good mom.
Oh, and some more good news. There might be a slight chance that I have felt the baby's movements. It always takes a few days to register the fluttering sensation, but I think it is there. That puts a HUGE smile on my face!
What have I learned today? If you are in a position to bless or help someone. Just DO IT. Don't take NO for an answer. Thank you, Alana, for not taking me seriously! It made such a difference today!

What a blessing to have friends like Alana! Sorry that you're sick... praying you feel better in NO time... and congrats! I didn't know you were pregnant! That's what I get for taking a blogging hiatus!

I'm glad Alana was there for you. She is a great friend, who can often see through what we say, to what we NEED. I'm so excited that you felt Poppy move! That is such a happy time! Maybe that's why you've been sick. Maybe Poppy has had a growth spurt, and the horomones surged a bit. I'll pray that you feel better quickly!
Aw, shucks. You know I was happy to do it. And you do know, I learned that "don't take no for an answer" from you? You are the QUEEN of seeing a need an filling it...I love that about YOU!
So excited that you are feeling the baby move!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I sure hope you feel better soon!! Thanks for commenting today on my blog :)
Sorry you're feelin' icky again! Hope those flutters keep your spirits up!
So sorry you felt yucky again; hopefully it will pass quickly. What a blessing to have a friend who won't take no for an answer! I'm sure she is thrilled to help out- so take any and all offers that allow you more rest:-)
Oh, I love that sensation of feeling the baby move! Isn't that just the most amazing thing in the world? What a gift to be a mommy and hold that little person so closely to your heart. Enjoy the flutterings!
Can I just say that I LOVE reading the interactions between you girls that are such good friends? It's touching to see how much you all care for each other. Yay!!
I'm soooo sorry that you're feeling sick again. I can imagine how discouraging that must be. But at least you know how worth it it is...you have a sweet little life growing inside of you. And wonderful friends who love to help you. Yay for life, and for friends!!
Hang in there...and I'm praying for you! (Really)
I'm trying to catch up on reading your blogs, b/c I haven't had time to read lately. Congrats on your new baby!! I hope all goes well and that your sickness passes quickly. I loved your first letter to your baby. That was sweet. God bless!
oh I luv friends like that. Don't feel bad though, I'm the same way when it comes to not wanting to inconvenience anyone....but I'm also the same way when it comes to appreciating the break after it's all over. By the way, you don't need to PRETEND to be a good mom, it's evident from reading your blog that you are. I hope you feel better soon!
I'm sorry you've been sick. Alana is obviously an angel, I'm so glad she was there for you. I love that you said "if you are in the position to bless just do it!" And I would like to add that if someone offers, just take it! They wouldn't offer if they didn't mean it. So, good for you for accepting!
Yea for baby moving!!!!!
