The common thread.

Today.

It's been eighteen years since my dad passed away.

Not a day goes by that I don't think about him.

I miss him.

My kids struggle to understand that they have a grandpa in Heaven that they have never met.

I try to find the common thread between his life and theirs.

I hope this helps.

oh sweet janelle.

my heart understands.

next week will be 19 years since losing my mom.
one of the hardest parts is that chris and our kids never got the chance to know her.

my heart longs for the day when we will all be together again.

love and hugs to you on a day that i know is harder than others.

and may your kids see their grandpa in YOU and may you be comforted to know that your dad is so proud of you. i know this because i know you!

love you.

This post is beautiful. I LOVE the one-words common thread. Simply beautiful. And what a gift for your kids.
