Finding the Woman in "Mommy"
Wiping noses and bottoms, doing dishes and laundry, making beds and lunches and endless meals...I have lost the woman inside me. I pray this blog will help me find myself again in the midst of the mundane tasks of mommyhood. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a mommy and wife...with all my heart. It is better than I ever imagined, but the endless work has snuffed out some of my joy. My sister-friend says to "savor every moment." So here is my attempt to live to the fullest during this stage of life.

How precious!! Ruthie loves that book too!! :) She is too impatient to go through all the repeated words though. So we read it like this, "Red bird, yellow duck, Purple horse...." The fast version. Maybe in a few months we can go back to the real words!! :)
