Hee hee! Hope that you all wore your shin guards and knee pads and helmets and had a grand ol' time doing whatever it was that you were threatening each other to do.
Wiping noses and bottoms, doing dishes and laundry, making beds and lunches and endless meals...I have lost the woman inside me. I pray this blog will help me find myself again in the midst of the mundane tasks of mommyhood. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a mommy and wife...with all my heart. It is better than I ever imagined, but the endless work has snuffed out some of my joy. My sister-friend says to "savor every moment." So here is my attempt to live to the fullest during this stage of life.

I must admit, I am very afraid. I am the slowest player ever. I need my processing time.
Have mercy on me, please. I am bringing a gift, you know.
I'm with Dawn, I don't think I'll be much competition. I used to think quickly, that was until my kids sucked the brains out of me (or was that life)?
Can't wait to celebrate with you!
Alana, ha ha ha ha...I love it when someone mentions "the sucking the life" out moment...it really takes me back!
Janelle:
IT IS ON!
I have no idea how to play (i read the website, I still have no idea), but...
IT IS SOOO ON!
I read it, too. It was about as clear as mud.
I have no idea what to do.
Or, do I?
i know what to do. and i don't care whose birthday it is - i'm playing for BLOOD!!!!! 6pm can't get here fast enough!!!! : )
OK OK, I'm dying over here!!! Seriously, Can we start at Noon?
yes, yes, yes...let's move the party up. Six is too late...we need to start at three...the sooner the better.
Everyone brush up on your solitare skills.
Or in my case...your social skills.
Can we make a "it's okay to let a little curse word slip" rule while we play?
Ohhhh, this sounds better and better. Especially if we can get Dawn to cursin.
Oh my! I am scared. I am a processor too Dawn. I may just watch and cheer.
Just kidding! But I definitely won't be out for BLOOD!
See you at 2:00 everyone!
i'm glad cussing is allowed. because nerts brings out the best in me and that always involves a few curse words!
pam...no watching & cheering. you must play! and i will take pity on ya'll the first few rounds. then...BLOOD!
oh sweet trash talk...one of the few pure pleasures in life!
: )
What happens at Carissa's, stays at Carissa's.
Are we all clear?
Okay, you guys are CRACKING Me up!
Personally, I don't care if there is cussin' or blood, or trash talk as long as there is CHOCOLATE.
I've actually played Nertz before, but I don't remember how to play. You all know how my MEMORY IS.
I am with you, Alana. As long as there's chocolate, I dont't give a $%#%^. Darn, I mean.
Dawn you are one @#%& of a funny girl!
Chocolate is a party essential! What are y'all bringing, anyway?
You all are funny!!
Oh MY! I don't know if I can come to this TRASH TALKIN', CUSSIN', CHOCOLATE EATIN' PARTY!
