I desperately need to blog our last 24 hours, but not today. Skip and I are enjoying a quiet, kid-free house thanks to Ma & Pa. We have turned off the phones and are enforcing a day of rest. We are savoring time together.
Here is a teaser from yesterday. More will follow!
A day of rest?!!!! What's that? I can't wait to hear teh rest of the story. I heard it was fabulous! I'm sure that dress was worth every penny!!!!! What great memories. I can't wait to scrapbook them with you. How about Tuesday?
You know I am on the edge of my seat over here! I heard it was a smashing success. Wish I had a curly headed three year old so I could have bounced in that candy filled house!
Okay, I thought I left a comment earlier. Sometimes I think I am losing my mind!
I love pumpkin carving, just not the mess. It is an activity that I usually leave to Rich (the creative one).
Loved seeing the pics of the birthday party since I was unable to be there. However, without photographic evidence of any of my family members there I am not sure whether to believe my husband when he says he attended. You know his track record with birthday parties!
Wiping noses and bottoms, doing dishes and laundry, making beds and lunches and endless meals...I have lost the woman inside me. I pray this blog will help me find myself again in the midst of the mundane tasks of mommyhood. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a mommy and wife...with all my heart. It is better than I ever imagined, but the endless work has snuffed out some of my joy. My sister-friend says to "savor every moment." So here is my attempt to live to the fullest during this stage of life.
