My favorite people...Skip, Zeb, Langley and Wit
Finding the Woman in "Mommy"
Wiping noses and bottoms, doing dishes and laundry, making beds and lunches and endless meals...I have lost the woman inside me. I pray this blog will help me find myself again in the midst of the mundane tasks of mommyhood. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a mommy and wife...with all my heart. It is better than I ever imagined, but the endless work has snuffed out some of my joy. My sister-friend says to "savor every moment." So here is my attempt to live to the fullest during this stage of life.

I could never imagine looking on my porch to see a giant monster like your resident spider. That you blogged about it makes me thankful I don't live near these guys. I'll take earthquakes, rattlesnakes and wildfires any day! Seriously. How strange does that make me. Another note, hope you all feel better!

Maybe it's not the stomach flu. Maybe it was a revenge spider bite from some of the faux tarantula's relatives. Probably not, but you never know....

Oh no!! Stomach flu is the worst. I think we'll avoid milk around here until we know we don't have it... I hope it isn't going around town... ah!
