I've found that with Ellie, the sleep thing goes in cycles...she's good for awhile, then we hit a patch that's a little more difficult. But as she's grown older, the "difficult" patches have grown fewer and more far between (I'm talking about sleep here, not everything else!) So little miss Lou is probably growing up a little (sigh) and although that can be hard in its own way, it feels so so good to get a full nights sleep!
And maybe there's something in the air with getting ready for school...out last 2 mornings have been quite pleasant!
Wiping noses and bottoms, doing dishes and laundry, making beds and lunches and endless meals...I have lost the woman inside me. I pray this blog will help me find myself again in the midst of the mundane tasks of mommyhood. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a mommy and wife...with all my heart. It is better than I ever imagined, but the endless work has snuffed out some of my joy. My sister-friend says to "savor every moment." So here is my attempt to live to the fullest during this stage of life.

You did not do that. You did not say it outloud!
Seriously, glad it is going well!!!
Yea!
But since you said it out loud, when she comes in again just remember the days of a sweet girl snuggling into you in bed are limited.

You are like the Little Engine that Could!!!!
Be strong! You can do it!
Extra question: If lil' Poppy turns out to be a girl, are you going to keep the name Poppy? I think that'd be very precious!
