Saturday Part III

Just when you thought our day was over...

My mom graciously offered to take the kids home with her after Lou's party on Saturday. I was hesitant (in truth, I practically BEGGED her to take them!) Skip and I had another birthday to celebrate that evening so we welcomed the kid-free night.

So, off they went to carve pumpkins at Ma & Pa's house. I am thankful that they are willing to host this because my kids wouldn't know what the inside of a pumpkin looked like without it. I am not about the mess. They have made it their tradition for which I am grateful.

I love seeing what designs my kids come up with every year. First, they draw out what they would like. Then Pa proceeds to make it happen. Z wanted a scary face and Lou wanted cross-eyes.

What an awesome way to end this fun-filled day!

Makes me miss my parents. Wish they lived closer.

What a great Ma and Pa and what wonderful memories they are making for your kids.

How Fun! We just did our pumpkin carving today, and it really wasn't as messy as I was afraid it might be! It looks like they had a great time!

Okay, I'm going to try this again. I can't figure out why I can't get my comments to post.

Jack-o-lanterns are fun, but messy. I leave the job to my creative husband. He has more fun than the kids do!

I loved the pics of L's party. But I am now wondering whether I should believe my husband was there with the children seeing as there is no photographic evidence. You know his track record with birthday parties ;-)

I like the new header. How nice to live near grandparents. You are blessed and so are your kids.
