We are more Snot than Kisses these days.

We now have the trifecta of contagiousness here at Snot and Kisses. Three kids, three different illnesses, 1 week.

Sunday...I kept Wingman home from church because he had a little cough. Cute really. Plus, it afforded me a glorious morning of sleep.

Monday...Loulabelle came home from school BURNING up. My apologies to all you other preschool families that were exposed during that 2 hours. If your child does come down with with a horrible sore throat, don't bother with the doctor. "It's just a virus!!"

Tuesday...Full blown ickiness. Lou's fever never broke 102. She was miserable. She was too hot to even snuggle. Her skin hurt.

Wednesday...Early morning trip to the doctor. Lovely diagnosis that made me so happy. On a whim, I had the doc look at Wingman. Wouldn't you know it? Double ear infection for him. Pat myself on the back and call me Mother Of The Year. Oh, the doc's office was VERY appreciative. Two kids, two co-pays.

Thursday...Things were looking up. Lou was feeling better, more like her spunky self. Wingman doing great. He never really acted sick. The part that makes me grumpy is that he hates the medicine. Big mess. Big, pink, sticky mess all over baby and mommy.

Friday...Everyone great and out the door this morning. Big smile on my face as I head to my weekly scrapbook date. I knew it was too good to be true. Skip called from the school where he was the Mystery Reader. Z-Man had the throw-ups. Twice. Everywhere.

So now I am holding my breath. Here's what I am afraid of...

Z-Man could still catch the viral sore throat, or the double ear infection.
Loulabelle could catch the ear infection or the stomach crud.
Wingman could catch the viral sore throat or the throw ups.

While you run along and enjoy this wonderful Friday, say a little prayer that our Lysol doesn't run out.

**********UPDATED***********************

NO need to worry anymore. He is now wearing his underwear on his head and singing "Dontcha wish your girlfriend is hot like me." Thank you for that, Alvin and the Chipmunks.

I think the crisis is over. For now.

Oh, honey. Are we living parallel lives OR WHAT?? Two ear infections, a baby full of green boogs, Miss G has been puking, and I actually had a different type of stomach "issue" yesterday. I wish we weren't together in this but know that I feel ya. Ugh. Wish I didn't. Or that you didn't. But you know what I mean.

And yes, I believe that Shelley did leave you off of the friendship triangle. Alana, too! :) Definitely.

I am so sorry. Hopefully everyone will keep to their own sickness and get will in a hurry.

Friendship triangle? I'm confused!

Your update CRACKED ME UP!!!

And OH how I hated giving babies medicine! Lots of pink everywhere, ALWAYS! One time I actually had to get another perscription filled because Austin spit it out so many times!

Great song! hahaha

What a week girlie. Glad things are looking up. I know the week must have seemed to drag out so long for you. I'll be praying the rest of the illnesses don't get passed along. ;-)

Gee, I know it's been awhile since I had a sick baby - the medicine was ORANGE, not pink, but surely just as sticky & staining. :) Hang in there. Oh, and thanks for the pop culture reference. I've been wondering where the sweet little four year girl I help take care of came up with that song! Too funny! And thanks also for making me laugh out loud repeatedly last night.

Glad you are all feeling better! The hubby is fighting off a stomach bug and I took the kids and left hoping to escape the bug! Poor hubby! LOL Melissa

Well, they say bad things happen in 3's! Looks like you are done for a while at least. I just hope you don't share the wealth! I'm glad to here Z is feeling better. The little stinkers drive you crazy, but the minute they are down, you wish they were up, running around driving you crazy again. Hang in there!

hahahahahahahahahahaha, that update is priceless!! I'm up with Elle, who has a bloody nose, and she wanted to see Lou's tooth pictures. She thinks that is the coolest thing!

yikes!

well when we get more than one sick we go for the "random handwashing every 30 minutes ish"

Kids get annoyed at first to be interrupted playing to go wash hands, but it really does work.

and of course lysol everything.

Love your title. Quite clever, my friend!

So glad to see everyone feeling much better today! Hopefully your house will be sick no more!

Oh, that is not even right!!! Glad your update is positive, but still, that many variations of illness should not hit a family all at once. Isn't that a rule or something....ya know, like the one where you can't get a cold twice in one month. Yuck!

Laughing my head off at the visual I'm getting from the update!

Sorry for all the ickies this week... yuck!

The update is PRICELESS! My kids love that they sing "funky town" from Shrek...

Sorry all seems to be sicko over at your place...perhaps next week will bring much needed healing your way!

I am glad to hear everyone is starting to perk up. I hope you stay healthy.
