It is hard to describe with words how ordinary and EXTRAORDINARY life is right now. So I may just have to update in list format.
That's inspired writing, folks!
1. Diapers, feeding, laundry, kid's squabbles and repeat every 2 hours, or until your mind becomes numb.
2. We are heading to the pediatrician today for a weight check (thank goodness, not me!) Wingman has been spitting up the entire feeding for the last 2-3 days. They want to make sure it's nothing. ***UPDATED**** Wingman is doing great. Doctor thinks he is just getting too much milk. His weight is up to 8.10. Little fatty.
3. My friends ROCK!! The meals that have been made for us have blog post written all over it. We have been treated like royalty these last 3 weeks. I will post some yummy recipes soon. Everything from Bowtie Pasta to Bbq Chicken Pizza. It has all been HEAVENLY!
4. Skip bought generic toilet paper. I won't even go there!
5. Today was the first day that I took all three kids someplace. We were there on time! Everyday my confidence is growing. I think we will get this figured out before school starts.
6. Hormones are leveling out! Praise Jesus! I am feeling like a nice mom again, not some terrorist ready to blow the whole family.
7. Really, there is not much going on in my brain. This is pretty dull.
8. So. Paci or no paci? That is the question around here these days.
9. Three weeks!!!??? When did my baby turn 3 weeks old? Sheesh, next thing you know we will be packing him for college.
10. Can I tell you how much I love my OB/GYN? I am practically her stalker hoping that she will be my BFF. I keep telling myself that I am her favorite. Maybe I am....
11. The Office. I don't get it. I need help.

I think you rock too!
So glad the hormones are leveling out.
Hang in there. Normal is just around the corner. Actually, what is normal?
I'm glad you're doing well. I had to laugh when you mentioned the toilet paper...My husband has learned that I hate generic toilet paper!! can't wait to see more pictures of your new guy.
You make me laugh.
Jason's done the generic toilet paper thing too. He knows better now.
I am SO proud of you for going somewhere with all three kids by yourself! That's a big step my friend!
And ENJOY those meals! I didn't truly cook anything for over a month after Austin was born. It was fabulous! We have some great friends who can COOK! And what a great way we can help you, you deserve it!
wow.
about generic toilet paper. i personally don't care....i'll use anything. but my husband IS SO PARTICULAR. go figure. =)
There are just some things you can't go generic.
Scott TP and JIF peanut butter.
You looked great today and did awesome with the three. You looked like a pro!
So glad Wingman's weight was good. I could tell you were worried.
I was JUST thinking about you and wondering if I'd missing your update on bloglines, but I see I did not! I am glad you are feeling better. Sounds like you are managing just fine.
Hang in there. :)
I haven't even met you (yet), but I just love you!!! What a fun post!
#4 totally had me laughing.
I'm a huge Office fan too
Welcome back....you were missed. :o)
I love a good list!
And we won't even talk about the things HH has brought home from the grocery store lately... but I'll give you one hint... LOW FAT ICE CREAM. I mean, seriously, why bother?!
hi sweet janelle.
would you think i was dorky if i told you i had missed you? probably. but i am willing to risk my own dorkiness to admit it.
ok, keep this a secret, ok? i am TOTALLY my OBGYN's favorite. (and so you feel better, my OBGYN is a man who is about my DAD'S age. i love him. like he was family. and buz rips me to no end.) i cried at my last appointment because i would be starting just "regular" yearly GYN appointments. cried. pathetic.
what about the office do you NOT get? because if you need help, i'll help. really, i will. because it is possibly one of the best shows of all time.
anyway, glad you're "back." "see" you soon.
love to you and your little tyke.
Can't wait to see those recipes!
Thankful the weight check went well.
Rich and I had a serious argument right after Richie came home when he brought home White Cloud diapers. Of course I was probably still dealing with the hormones at that point, so it probably paid a part. But seriously, generic TP? Next time, call me. I promise I will never buy you generic toilet paper. NEVER. ;-)
That is "played a part", not "paid a part"...sheesh.
Oh, how glad I am to see you back. I was starting to worry about you. Glad those hormones didn't send you to the moon! Missed hearing your stories. Can't wait to hear more!
so glad to hear you are doing so great janelle! great news!!
WAY TO GO JANELLE!!! Getting out with all three...I'm so proud of you!
So that generic toilet paper...that's all we had in the dorms, ug! I was glad to move out for that reason!
The Office...AMAZING! It's just one of those shows you have to watch over and over to pick up the humor. It took me a few episodes, but now I'm hooked! Good luck with it...joining "The Office Club" is quite the accomplishment!
Glad to hear things are going so well!
Glad to have you back!! I missed you!! So glad Wingman is doing well!! Watch those weeks... they fly by and soon you'll be celebrating his first birthday... you know where I'm going with this!! I'll be looking out for those recipes.
P.S. I need some more Wingman pictures!!!
I am glad to hear everything is going well. I have to say that if my one luxury in life is good TP then I am not to bad.
"That's what she said!"
Thanks for the laughs on #4, 6, and 10. I know what you mean! :o)
Some things you can't buy generic. And TOILET paper would be once of them. Yes, my husband found that out the hard way. :o)
It's Angel Soft double for me. My husband cannot remember this. Single rolls last for a nano-second around here and apparently no one has a degree in putting a fresh roll on the holder except for me. I'll stop before this becomes thesis! I'm a picky TP girl too. (Like you couldn't tell.)
