My breath left me.
My stomach was full of butterflies.
My mind was full of doubt.
My mouth was dry.
My palms were sweaty.
"Hold on tight!" I screamed.
"Father, please protect him", I whispered.
My heart leaped out of my chest.
My eyes didn't stray.
His resolve didn't waver.
His daddy believed and teased.
His smile lit up the world.
His laugh melted the dark place called fear that resides in secret.
His joy was contagious.
He wants more.

way to be Brave and Faithful mom!
That's the best news! So glad he rode! He is Boy1 made over!
That's what started Boy1's new found bravery....roller coasters!
Yay for Z!
Hang on because it only gets better and a little more scary!
Sorry-I deleted the above comment because I forgot to spellcheck before I posted.
I can attest to his bravery...and yours!
How many more things like that will we have to watch on the sidelines as mamas? Makes me glad God is in control!
We were at Disney this spring and my seven year old rode every roller coaster. When they took her picture at the really, really scary parts she was smiling, brave girl that she is.
This post brought back memories.
I love Big Mama's comment above. So true.
